When international productions start planning a shoot in Peru, one question always comes up: Can we rent the equipment we need locally?

The short answer is yes.

The better question is: can you find a local partner who understands why you need it?

At GoPeru Films, we believe equipment rental is about much more than supplying cameras and lenses.

The best camera package isn’t the biggest one. It’s the one that lets your crew work without thinking about the equipment.

That’s the difference between renting gear and building a production-ready camera package.

One of our latest productions was a music film for Lovo Films and the European Union, starring Peruvian artist Renata Flores. GoPeru Films provided complete production support in Peru, including permits, logistics, crew, locations and technical production, while also assembling the entire camera package for the shoot.

The project was captured on an ARRI Alexa Mini 4:3 with the ARRIRAW Full License, complemented by a Fujinon Alura 45–250mm zoom as part of the production’s lens package, along with a complete cinema support package tailored to the project’s creative and technical requirements.

Before principal photography, we worked alongside the production team during the camera test, fine-tuning the camera package and ensuring every technical detail was ready for the shoot.

Every accessory, wireless video system, monitoring solution, grip component and lighting package was planned and coordinated alongside the production team, ensuring every department had exactly what it needed throughout the shoot.

Nothing was left to chance.

Because that’s how we approach equipment rental: as an extension of the production itself.

Built Around Your Production

Every production has its own creative vision, technical challenges and workflow.

That’s why we don’t start with an equipment list. We start with your production.

Our technical department is led by cinematographer Abel Irribarren, whose years behind the camera shape the way we build every package. Rather than simply matching a gear list, we work to understand how the project will be filmed, helping configure a camera package that supports both the creative vision and the practical realities of the shoot.

Our goal isn’t simply to provide equipment.

It’s to make sure your crew never has to think about it.

When everything works the way it should, directors can direct, cinematographers can focus on the image, producers can focus on the schedule, and every department can focus on making the project better, rather than solving technical problems.

Professional Camera Rental in Peru

Today, Peru offers far more than extraordinary filming locations.

It has the technical infrastructure to support international productions at the highest level.

Whether you’re producing a commercial, documentary, feature film or branded content, it’s possible to build a complete cinema package locally without compromising on quality.

At GoPeru Films, we have partnered with the country’s leading rental houses, allowing us to operate as a full camera rental service in Peru. This gives us access to the right equipment for every production, and lets us assemble each camera package as a single, unified rental solution, tailored to the specific technical and creative requirements of each project.

Sometimes that means an ARRI Alexa 35 paired with Signature Primes.

Sometimes it’s a lightweight Sony FX6 documentary setup.

Other times it’s a specialty camera system combined with motion control, remote heads or custom grip solutions.

Every production is different.

Your camera package should be too.

Available camera systems include:

  • ARRI Alexa 35
  • ARRI Alexa Mini LF
  • ARRI Alexa Mini
  • RED V-Raptor
  • RED Komodo
  • Sony FX6
  • Sony FX3
  • Pixboom Spark
  • Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K

Together with complete camera support packages including wireless video systems, follow focus units, monitors, media, batteries, matte boxes, filters, stabilization systems, video transmission, power solutions and every accessory expected on professional productions.

Premium Cinema Lenses

Every cinematographer has a different visual language.

Some productions call for the clean precision of Signature Primes. Others look for the warmth of Cooke, the character of rehoused Leica lenses or the versatility of premium cinema zooms.

Whatever your creative approach, we’ll help configure a lens package that supports it.

Available optics include:

  • ARRI Signature Primes
  • Master Primes
  • Ultra Primes
  • Leica Summilux T1.4
  • Leica R Superspeed Rehoused
  • Cooke S4i
  • Cooke Panchro
  • Cooke Anamorphic SF (32mm, 50mm & 100mm)
  • Atlas Lens Co. Anamorphic
  • Sigma FF High Speed
  • Carl Zeiss High Speed T1.3

  • Sony G Master II 70–200mm

Rather than offering predefined kits, we build every camera package around your cinematographer’s workflow, shooting style and production schedule.

Specialty Equipment

Some productions require much more than cameras and lenses.

Whether your shoot calls for dynamic vehicle work, stabilized camera movement, telescopic crane shots or complex grip setups, we can source the right tools for the job.

Available specialty equipment includes:

  • ARRI Trinity
  • Panther Tristar
  • Robojib P540
  • Jimmy Jib Triangle Pro
  • Tilta Hydra Arm
  • Black Arm systems
  • Dollies
  • Cranes
  • Precision grip equipment

We also provide lighting packages ranging from classic ARRI fixtures to the latest LED technology, together with generators, power distribution, grip trucks and all the supporting equipment required for productions of every scale.

If your production needs something highly specialized, we’ll help you find it.

Need to Bring Your Own Equipment?

Sometimes the perfect camera package includes equipment that simply can’t be sourced locally.

Your cinematographer may have a custom-built camera system, a specialty lens, a prototype or proprietary equipment that’s essential to the project.

We can help with that too.

GoPeru Films assists international productions with the temporary import of professional equipment into Peru, coordinating customs documentation and local logistics so your gear arrives, works and leaves the country without unnecessary complications.

Peru and the ATA Carnet

Peru is a member of the ATA Carnet system, allowing productions from participating countries to temporarily import professional equipment without paying import duties, provided the equipment leaves the country after filming.

If your production is traveling with an ATA Carnet, we’ll guide you through the process before your arrival and coordinate everything locally to ensure a smooth customs process.

If your country isn’t part of the ATA Carnet system, we can also advise you on the appropriate temporary import procedures available in Peru.

No matter where your equipment comes from, we’ll help make sure it gets where it needs to be.

More Than Equipment. A Production Partner.

Renting equipment is easy.

Building the right workflow for a production is something else entirely.

At GoPeru Films, we believe cameras, lenses and lighting are only part of the equation. What really matters is how every technical decision supports the people using them.

That’s why we don’t simply provide equipment.

We help producers, cinematographers and directors build camera packages that make productions run smoothly, from the first camera test to the final shooting day.

Whether you’re filming in Lima, the Andes, the Amazon or the Peruvian coast, the goal of GoPeru films remains the same.

To make the technical side of your production feel effortless.

Because in the end, the best camera package isn’t the biggest one.

It’s the one that lets your crew focus on making great films while the equipment simply does its job.
